Fast words. No, seriously.

I’ve been keeping an interested eye on the public art project coordinated by IndyGo and the Indy Arts Council… they’ve patterned it after a public art initiative that started on the NYC subways back in 2000 called “Poetry in Motion”. Indy’s version is called “Shared Spaces/Shared Voices”, and is slated to kick off this weekend for Indy Fringe.

I was surprised and excited to see John Borneman’s name on the list of accepted entries. I don’t have the opportunity to speak with John any more, but his poetry, prose and short stories have inspired me on numerous occasions. I’m so glad he can add this unique ‘award’ to his growing list of literary accomplishments.

Way to go, John!
